Paris, France, June 17, 2010 - Trinnov Audio today announced that the company has joined forces with Doremi Technologies - the leading manufacturer of digital cinema servers - and with Digital Media Solutions (DMS) - the new company founded by Hervé Roux - to offer a new generation of audio processors specifically designed for digital cinema. The first results of this collaboration has been a successful phase 1 deployment in France at selected CGR, Pathé-Gaumont and UGC screens. Phase 2 has now started at a European level.

Under the terms of the exclusive agreement, the jointly designed products are manufactured by Trinnov, while DMS focuses on the marketing and distribution worldwide, and Doremi Technologies offers private branded versions dedicated to selected key accounts in EMEA. Doremi Technologies' established leadership in digital cinema servers, and DMS' strong relationships with cinema installers around the world are two powerful assets to offer the Trinnov technology in the best possible conditions.

The new processors feature Trinnov's automatic digital crossover alignment and room correction technologies, which are widely recognized as the benchmark in their field. Large post-production facilities such as Fox Studios, the Quinta Group, the Télétota Group and Cinéphase have been impressed by the performance of the Trinnov processors in their mixing & dubbing stages, since more than 3 years now. So it comes as no surprise that Trinnov now also offers its impressive technology to cinemas.

Paris, France, April 16, 2010 - Trinnov Audio today announced that it will showcase the new and improved ST2-Pro, at the 128th AES Convention May 23-25, on booth #1105. The french manufacturer will showcase the second series of its professional stereo loudspeaker processor, which builds on the success of the first series of the product, launched only a year ago at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt.

The ST2-Pro is based on new hardware specifically designed for audio professionals. The silent 2U chassis features a rear panel with XLR connectors, and a special attention has been given to the AD/DA converters, designed by Trinnov to meet the requirements of the most demanding sound engineers. In fact, the whole chassis and electronics have been redesigned, both outside and inside: the new Trinnov audio interfaces, the "AES4" and the "ADA4", are connected to the new Trinnov Core, a high performance digital audio engine.

Trinnov's unique software modules, the Processor, the Optimizer and the SmartMeter (optional) can run simultaneously on top of the ST2-Pro:
•    The Processor manages the core loudspeaker processing functionality, such as routing, delays, gains, crossovers and manual EQs (graphic and parametric).
•    The Optimizer module offers unique room EQ features with Multi-point Measurements, Target Curves and Automatic Phase Optimization.
•    The Smart Meter is a fully featured Multi-Meter (Loudness, Peak and Quasi-Peak) and Monitor Controller

The ST2-Pro can be controlled via a touch-screen, via a monitor + mouse, from any computer (PC or Mac) via a VNC client, through the network, or via the optional GPIO interface.

Paris, France, April 16, 2010 - Trinnov Audio today announced the availability of the Trinnov Loudness Meter, which complies to the upcoming EBU R-128 specifications for instantaneous, short term and long term loudness measurements. This new tool developed by Trinnov is already being used by France Télévisions, the french public broadcaster.

Trinnov's Loudness Meter addresses the need for accurate and user-friendly loudness metering during live productions, post-production and quality control. It complements the Peak Meter and the Quasi-Peak Meter already offered by first release of Trinnov's SmartMeter, introduced in September 2009.

The Trinnov Loudness Meter displays all the loudness measurements in a single window:
• Instantaneous loudness (400ms integration time) in the form of a bargraph
• Short term loudness (3s integration time) in the form of a history graph
• Long term loudness (with -8LU relative gating) in the form of a numeric value
It should be noted that all measurements are performed as specified in ITU-R BS.1770-1, which the EBU R-128 extends even further.

"By adding Loudness metering to our innovative SmartMeter, we are adding one more dimension that sound engineers can improve thanks to the use of our unique audio processors" says business development director Felipe Avila-Reyes. Pricing and availability:
Trinnov Loudness Meter is available immediately as part of the SmartMeter 2.0 software option. It is supported on all models of the Trinnov ST and MC processors. MSRP is 1000 Euros for the 2-channel license, and 2000 Euros for the 8-channel license.

The upcoming loudness recommendation R128 is a work in progress by the PLOUD group at the EBU, chaired by Florian Camerer of the ORF. In addition to the recommendation itself, the group plans to issue a set of guidelines about how to produce and distribute audio material which meets the recommendation.

The french manufacturer will showcase the HiFi Edition of its new ST2 loudspeaker processor, which builds on the success of the first series of the product, launched only a year ago at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt.

The HiFi Edition of the ST2 offers Trinnov's digital room correction technology in a package specifically customized for high-end HiFi installations. In fact, the whole chassis and electronics have been redesigned, both outside and inside: the front panel features a sleek brushed aluminum front panel, while the rear panel is specifically designed for HiFi use. In the interior, the discerning audiophile will find Trinnov's new digital audio engine with Trinnov's new generation of AD/DA converters, designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding ears.

The ST2-HiFi is powered by the same software that has established Trinnov's reputation as the best-in-class loudspeaker optimizer in music and film studios around the world. The embedded software is extremely easy to use and offers unique room EQ features such as Multi-Point Measurements, Target Curves and Automatic Phase Optimization.

For large, multi-way systems with active crossovers, Trinnov's Intelligent Crossover Alignment functionality dramatically reduces the effort required to setup gains and delays on each way. While a 2-way system can be managed with a single ST2, 3-way and 4-way systems can be installed by combining two ST2s.

The Optimizer v3.0 offers powerful new features that improve the results of the optimization process, while making it easier and faster for the installer:

• Multipoint Measurements: measure multiple points in your room, using one or more microphones. The Optimizer Multi-Point algorithms take into account every point according to the weights you specify.

• New Graphs: compare multiple loudspeakers or measurement points on the same graphs. Analyze impulse responses, group delay, and the filters generated by the Optimizer.

• Modular Architecture: choose the features you need. The Optimizer Runtime allows you to use the Optimizer as a “black box”. The Optimizer Toolbox includes all the measurement and analysis functionnality to calibrate your loudspeakers.
